What is Axis?

Axis is our student ministry for students 6th grade through high school.

What can I expect at an Axis experience?

Games, food, getting-to-know you activities, live worship, energetic teaching, and great small groups are all part of an Axis experience. We really enjoy our Wednesdays at Axis and we believe that we have something to offer almost every student.

What time is Axis?

Wednesdays from 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm. You are also welcome to come early at 6 pm and visit our snack shack (Snaxis), complete with incredible cooking by some of our best chefs. The extremely low price for the Axis meal deal is just 2 bucks. That includes the main course, chips, and beverage.

What if I don't know anyone?

We understand that showing up somewhere and not really knowing anyone can be a pretty scary thing. So, let us offer a couple of suggestions. First, bring a friend! Guests are ALWAYS welcome at Axis. Secondly, our adult and student staff are extremely focused on making visitors feel welcome. Again, we get the fear of coming for the first time. However, we are dedicated to making your first-time experience a good one.

What about the big age difference between Junior and Senior High?

While we do have large group activities, we also split our small groups up by age and gender for the small group portion of the evening. We have great small group leaders who deeply care about the emotional and spiritual lives of our students.

What about Sunday mornings? What opportunities do you have for students?

We have a 9:45 class that meets for our Jr. High students. Our high school students are encouraged to attend one of our main worship experiences on Sunday mornings.
