What are the requirements for membership at New Horizon?
If you would like to explore what it means to be a member of Christ's body through New Horizon, we offer our new member class at least 4 times durring the year. This class explains our mission, vision, and ministry approach and prepares people to become members of our Ministry Team. Everyone is welcome to attend with no obligation to become a member. Do you have a ministry geared towards Women?
Time Out 4 Moms is a group that meets at the church on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. This includes both large group and small group times and there is a curriculum available for the children as well. There is a semester fee to help cover the cost of childcare and materials. For more information, contact Nancy Berkman. Also, there are a large number of women's small groups that meet at different times during the week, please check out our Small Groups pages.

Sunday Program Information: Contact the church office for inserts to the program. The deadline for this information is Wednesday by noon. The number at the church is 217.359.8909 or you can email Kristie Langley .

Monthly Newsletter Information: Email all information for the newsletter to newsletter@newhorizonchurch.org or call the Church Office, 217.359.8909; the newsletter deadline is the 20th of each month.

How do I schedule a special event? Can groups outside New Horizon use the building?
Call the Church Office, 217.359.8909, and leave your name and phone number, and a special event coordinator will call you back.

How can I schedule a meeting in the building?
Call the Church Office, 217.359.8909 or by email us at deb@newhorizonchurch.org. Office hours are 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday.

How can I hear a recording of the Sunday messages?

You can download the mp3 messages here. You can also stop by the Welcome Center after each service.

What kinds of family activities do you have?
During the summer, New Horizon offers organized softball on Friday evenings; all skill levels are welcome. There are various other family activities offered in our monthly newsletter highlights. Vacation Bible School is offered each summer to children of 4years old-sixth grade. We are also excited to offer our T.N.T. (Tapping Into Truth) Ministry. A family meal will be offered at 5:45 pm followed by classes from 6:30-8:00 pm for parents, single & married adults, youth & children.
